Histoire
- The community of Our Lady of Silence was formed from a union of three former OCSO communities in the Republic of Ireland: Mount Melleray Abbey (diocese of Waterford and Lismore), Mt. St. Joseph Abbey, Roscrea (diocese of Killaloe), and Mellifont Abbey (diocese of Armagh). This followed a long process of reflection and discernment in the three communities. The new community was approved by the Abbot General and his Council in the name of the General Chapter on 3 November 2024.
