Mt. St. Bernard

April 08, 2020: Father John Moakler was born in 1927 in Nottingham (Great Britain). He entered Mt. St. Bernard in 1948, made his solemn profession in 1953 and was ordained a priest in 1956. He was Abbot of the Community from 1982 to 2001. Father was 92 years old, had been in monastic vows for 69 years and 63 years a priest when the Lord called him.
