Founded by Gethsemani  in 1947; raised to the status of abbey November 1948.
History

Holy Trinity is located in the Rocky Mountains, at an altitude of 2,000 metres, not far from Huntsville, UT.  The group of 34 founders left Gethsemani on 7 July and arrived on the site on 10 July.  A postulant arrived the next day.  The founders lived in old military barracks.

1949, 22 January: first abbatial blessing.

Work and sources of income
800 acre farm, mostly in grass and alfalfa for a herd of approximately 100 cattle, and barley; honey, cereals and a small shop.
Guest Facilities
one wing of the monastery has been set aside for male retreatants (12 persons). For families and for women retreatants there is another guesthouse which can accommodate 2 groups (15 persons).
