Foundation by Stapehill in 1932; erection as an abbey in 1934.
Historia
1932: El monasterio y la propiedad fue adquirida por Mount Melleray y donados a las monjas la iglesia fue construida también por Mont Melleray.
1949 :  Fundación de Ntra. Sra. de Wrentham. Bastantes norteamericanas hicieron su noviciado en Glencairn y retornaron con un grupo de mayores.
1955 :  Las fundadoras de Wrentham  vuelven a Glencairn y hacen su estabilidad mediante indulto.
