Commission for Help
To establish the Commission of three members who will have the
responsibility to study the requests for assistance and to manage the
funds that are provided to help (votes 23—29 of the MGM), the Abbot
General and his Council have chosen three persons who have been
contacted and have expressed their willingness to serve on the
Commission. The three members chosen are the following : Mother
Geneviève-Marie FRAVALO of Campénéac, Dom Bernard JOHNSON of Vina and
Dom Simon CARRERE of Oelenberg. The Commission was officially
established December 31, 2002.
We are grateful to the members of the Commission for their generosity in
accepting to serve the Order in this way. Their willingness and the free
and generous yearly contributions from the Communities will allow a
response to the requests for assistance.
For the present, contributions may be sent bv check to the
Generalate.
