III) General Chapter 2008

During the consultation which was made at the 2005 MGM, regarding the place for the General Chapter of 2008, Fatima received the most votes. Three locations able to receive our large group have been contacted. Unfortunately none of them is able to receive us for lack of sufficient place or because the available dates were not appropriate.  The Abbot General and his Council have considered the second choice of the members of the Chapter; which was Assisi.  The Franciscans of Domus Pacis are able to welcome us again in 2008, from 1st to 24th of September. Please take note of the dates. It is hoped that the virus “Assisi Grippe” will not be active!
