Father Mauricio was born in 1974 in Santa Rosa (Argentina).
He was ordained a priest in 2005, entered Azul in 2011
and made first profession in 2014.

February 8, 2017: Brother Maur Buisson was born in 1927 in Paris (France). He entered Sept-Fons in 1963 and made his solemn profession in 1968. Brother was 89 years old and had been in monastic vows for 51 years when the Lord called him.
February 8, 2017: Dom Bernard Kaboggoza, Abbot emeritus of Victoria.
Dom Bernard was born in 1925 in Butolo (Uganda). He was a solemnly professed religious of another Congregation and he entered Victoria in 1958. He made his solemn profession in 1960 and was ordained a priest in 1969. Dom Bernard was Abbot of Victoria from 1989 to 2001. He was 91 years old, had been in monastic life for 59 years and 47 years a priest when the Lord called him.
On February 2, 2017,
on the Feast of the Presentation of Jesus at the Temple,
Sister Edwige of Blauvac became 104 years.
As her Abbess wrote: “She wonders what happened to her because it’s so far beyond her understanding… But she finds it’s not bad !!!”
Sister Edwige Talagrand was born on February 02, 1913 in St Laurent les Bains (France). She entered the monastery on March 11, 1941 and made her solemn profession in 1946.
She is the Venerable Senior of our Order with Father Bernard de Give, of Scourmont, who will be 104 years in a few months… We already wish him a happy birthday!
During the year, we will also celebrate the hundred-first birthday of
Father Joseph Benedict Donnelly of Guadalupe
(born on October 03, 1916 and entered the monastery on January 22, 1965)
and we will celebrate the one hundreth birthday of
Sister Casimir Hatanaka of Tenshien
(born on March 18, 1917 and entered the monastery on April, 27 1935)

January 30, 2017: Dom Robert Barnes, Abbot emeritus of Berryville.
Dom Robert was born in 1942 in (USA). He entered Berryville in 1961, made his solemn profession in 1966 and was ordained a priest in 1970. He was Abbot of Berryville from 1998 to 2016. Dom Robert was 75 years old, had been in monastic vows for 53 years and 46 years a priest when the Lord called him.
January 30, 2017: Brother Camillus Canning was born in 1930 in Dublin (Ireland). He entered Mt. Melleray in 1951 and made his solemn profession in 1958. Brother was 86 years old and had been in monastic vows for 61 years when the Lord called him.
January 28, 2017: Brother Vincent Mainguet was born in 1948 in St Lumine-de-Clisson (France). He entered Bellefontaine in 1969, made his solemn profession in 1978 and was a founder of Kokoubou in 1978. He returned to Bellefontaine in February 2016 for health reasons. Brother was 68 years old and had been in monastic vows for 45 years when the Lord called him.

Sister Marie-Raphael was born in 1976 in Kabgayi (Rwanda).
she entered Kibungo in 2009 and made first profession in 2013.
January 29, 2017: Father Philippe Hémon was born in 1950 in Guengat (France). He entered Tamié in 1974, made his solemn profession in 1979 and was ordained a priest in 1994. Father was 66 years old, had been in monastic vows for 40 years and 22 years a priest when the Lord called him. He had been incardinated in the diocese of Quimper for a month.

January 28, 2017: Brother Nicolas Lesuisse was born in 1926 in Tirlemont (Belgium). He entered Rochefort in 1954 and made his solemn profession in 1960. Brother was 90 years old and had been in monastic vows for 59 years when the Lord called him.

at the monastery of Matutum (Philippines).
Sister Teresa was born in 1986 in Midsayap, Cotabato (Philippines).
she entered Matutum in 2010 and made first profession in 2013.
On January 25, 2017, at the end of the first abbatial term of Mother María Pilar Germán Rojas, the Community of Tulebras (diocese of Pamplona, Spain) elected as abbess, for a six year term, Sister María Victoria Sanz Chozas.
Mother María Victoria born in Miraflores de la Sierra (Spain) in 1954, entered the monastery in 1987 and made solemn profession in 1993. At the time of her election she was cellarer of the Community.
January 20, 2017: Sister Lucía Vicente Pindado was born in 1943 in Llano de Olmedo, Valladolid (Spain). She entered Avila in 1962 and made her solemn profession in 1967. Sister was 73 years old and had been in monastic vows for 52 years when the Lord called her.
Mother Stella Maris Venezia, Prioress of the Monastery of Sta María de la Paz, Juigalpa (Nicaragua) since 2009, presented her resignation to the Abbot General on September 16, 2016. With the consent of his Council, the Abbot General accepted the resignation which became effective on September 26, 2016.
On January 22, 2017, Paul Mark Schwan, Abbot of Vina and Father Immediate of Juigalpa, appointed Sister Fabiana Barrera, as Superior ad nutum of Juigalpa.
Mother Fabiana was born in Buenos Aires (Argentina) in 1961, entered Hinojo (Argentina) in 1987 and made solemn profession in 1993. She had been one of the foundresses of Juigalpa in 2001. At the time of her appointment, Mother Fabiana was the book keeper of the Community.

On January 21, 2017, at the end of his third abbatial term, Dom Daniel Van Santvoort was re-elected Abbot of Caldey (Great Britain) for a new six year term.
January 19, 2017: Dom Angelo Buccitti was born in 1917 in Boville Ernica (Italy). He entered Frattocchie in 1931, made his solemn profession in 1938 and was ordained a priest in 1942. Appointed Superior ad nutum of Tre Fontane in 1979 and elected Abbot in 1980, he resigned in 1991. Father was 99 years old, had been in monastic vows for 81 years and 74 years a priest when the Lord called him.
January 18, 2017: Father Alphonsus O’Connell was born in 1924 in Killavullen, Cork (Ireland). He entered Mount Melleray in 1947, made his solemn profession in 1952 and was ordained a priest in 1953. Father was 92 years old, had been in monastic vows for 67 years and 63 years a priest when the Lord called him.
January 15, 2017: Sister Germana Kobayashi Yuri was born in 1923 in Nagasaki (Japan). She entered Tenshien in 1948. She had been one of the foundresses of Shindembaru in 1953 and made her solemn profession in 1954. Sister participated in the transfer of the Community to Imari in 1965. She was 93 years old and had been in monastic vows for 65 years when the Lord called her.
January 15, 2017: Sister Marie-José Burin was born in 1928 in Tongeren (Belgium). She entered Brecht in 1954 and made her solemn profession in 1959. Sister was 88 years old and had been in monastic vows for 60 years when the Lord called her.
January 14, 2017: Brother Julián Atienza Nieto was born in 1936 in Baltanás (Spain). He entered San Isidro in 1949 and made his solemn profession in 1957. Brother was 81 years old and had been in monastic vows for 62 years when the Lord called him.
