Melleray

Because of their diminishing numbers, the monks of the Abbey of Melleray have partnered with the Chemin Neuf Community. Since September 17, 2015, twenty members of this community live in the abbey. A new phase began on June 19, 2016 with the celebration around the Bishop of Nantes with the gradual handover. It is not without pain for the monks but they have the consolation that the place continues to be a pole of prayer and a spiritual home for the Diocese.
